PolAIR™ High Pressure Fog System

Greenhouse fogging Create just the right temperature and humidity in your greenhouse with the PolAIR Fogging System and you can use the PolAIR Control to take care of everything. You can also use the VAL-CO Aspirated Chamber to monitor the humidity exactly.

High Pressure Fogging A High Pressure Fog System (over 50 bars) brings very small water droplets in the air, which are immediately evaporated.

This results in some changes in the air characteristics. Firstly it will increase the humidity level and secondly it will decrease the temperature decrease. It's an adiabatic air cooling.

The efficiency of a system is first determinate by the droplets size. The droplet size depends of the pressure, the diameter of the nozzle hole and all the nozzle characteristic. If pressure increases (over 100 bars) the flow rate of the nozzle will be first affected. By example if D1 is the flow rate for the P1 pressure, the flow rate D2 for the P2 pressure will be: D2 = D1 x √ P2/P1.

Time evaporation for a droplet depends of the diameter of this droplet as you can see on the diagram following.

Polair™High Pressure Fog System

Polair™ is an high-pressure fog system which permits to change climatic conditions in chicken house, greenhouse and garden center, and all area or industry which need to cool the air or control humidity.

Polair™runs under Temperature and Humidity sensor control or under any control you want (timer, external signal,..) and guarantee a perfect control of the conditions you require.

Polair™ uses only water (no compressed air) and every system is made up with :

- an electrical motor and a high pressure pump

- a 5 µ water filtration (no filter in the nozzle)

- special control parts for pressure safety (pressure switch, pressure gauge)

- an automatic system to control water inlet and outlet (solenoids for water supply and water drain : no water shock!)

- nozzle line an main line stainless steel (316 grade) with high-pressure coupling brass or stainless steel. No flaring or welding of the tube is required.

- stainless steel nozzle with check valve (which can be fully disassembled) directly torque into the nozzle line by a Vallorb's unique machining process (no welding).

Water under high-pressure go trough the main line and runs into the check valve. The check valve prevents dripping during system pressurization and depressurization. Depending of is conception and is mode of way (no water staying in the main line and nozzle line when the system stop) the Polair™ is not favorable for the propagation of legionella bacteria. However to be sure to eliminate the bacteria which are in the water supply we can install a water treatment by chemical (standard regarding heath legislation) or an UV light.

Polair™ nozzle (see the picture attached) is made by Vallorb’s which serving the technical industry since 1947. The Polair™ nozzle feature a unique patent-pending removable atomization pin and all-metal seals. The water going through the pin is atomized in very small droplets (under 10µ). The outlet port of the nozzle, which is 2µ diameter, and the special design of the atomization pin, provide an open diffusion cone provide a complete and immediate evaporation in the air. For 70 bars pressure each nozzle flow rate is quite 6 l/h and for 110 bars pressure the same nozzle will have a flow rate of 7,5 l/h.

This very efficient diffusion of water in the air and the extreme quality of the material used (all stainless steel nozzle) is also a very big advantage to use the Polair™ high-pressure fog system for odor control chemical diffusion.
